Since my continuity task, I have learnt a number of new techniques, and ways to produce and market a short film.

 

While producing the continuity task I knew how to work a tripod and camera. We used my own DSLR camera to film it.  I had a brief understanding of camera angles and which ones work best but during the making of the OTS we discovered new camera angles for ourselves. To disover them we just experimented while filming seeing which ones showed what we wanted to show and hid what we wanted to hide, also how the lighting of the scene was shown in the shots. Going back to digital technologies I have learnt a lot from the making of our OTS that I could have used back while editing the continuity task. For example different layering options for clips, how to superimpose different clips over other clips and making and exporting music files for the task at hand.
